At the graduation ceremony held at Hanoi University of Science and Technology on May 11, an emotional photograph sparked a storm on social media. The image of the new engineer embracing his mother—who was dressed in a cap and gown—with a face etched by hardship yet her eyes brimming with pride, received an outpouring of “heart showers” and numerous congratulatory comments. More notably, the photo captured the special gift that Trần Đình Dư, a new graduate in Control and Automation Engineering, dedicated to his mother on this year’s Mother’s Day.

At 17:14 on April 24, 2024, in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) organized a scientific workshop on the application of science and technology (S&T) models in power systems with a high share of renewable energy.
