This is the personal account of Associate Professor Lê Minh Thuỳ – a lecturer at the School of Electrical - Electronics and one of the three outstanding educators at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2024. With more than 10 years of service at the university, she has remained steadfast on the path she chose, quietly proving herself through numerous successful scientific projects and prestigious awards.

On the morning of December 27, at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), a ceremony was held to inaugurate the Viettel - HUST 5G/6G Research Laboratory as well as to award the Viettel Talent Scholarships 2024. This event marks a milestone in the close collaboration between the School of Electrical - Electronics at HUST and the Vietnam Military Telecommunications and Electronics Group (Viettel).

At the graduation ceremony held at Hanoi University of Science and Technology on May 11, an emotional photograph sparked a storm on social media. The image of the new engineer embracing his mother—who was dressed in a cap and gown—with a face etched by hardship yet her eyes brimming with pride, received an outpouring of “heart showers” and numerous congratulatory comments. More notably, the photo captured the special gift that Trần Đình Dư, a new graduate in Control and Automation Engineering, dedicated to his mother on this year’s Mother’s Day.

At 17:14 on April 24, 2024, in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) organized a scientific workshop on the application of science and technology (S&T) models in power systems with a high share of renewable energy. Chaired by EVN Deputy General Director Ngô Sơn Hải, the event was held both in-person and online.

On January 25, 2024, the inauguration ceremony for the i3-Mechatronics Smart Automation Laboratory—sponsored by Yaskawa Corporation with a total investment of USD 300,000—was held at Building C7, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).
