Department of Automation, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE) is a tertiary unit of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. The Department was established on November 18, 2021 under the Decision of the President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, in the roadmap to reform the former School into a new School model model under the new Education Law.

The Department of Automation is in charge of the Control and Automation Engineering program.

Department of Automation was established based on the restructuring of three departments of Automatic Control, Industrial Informatics and Instrumentation Engineering, and Industrial Automation.
