This program is a training cooperation project between the French and Vietnamese governments with training programs accredited by the French Engineer Diploma (Commission des Titres d' Ingénieur - CTI). The current three PFIEV programs at the University are: Information and Communication Systems, Industrial Informatics and Aerospace Engineering. The PFIEV programs are designed for a period of 5 years with certain requirements on English and French language proficiency, and are awarded with a CTI-accredited engineer degree.
The qualification of the PFIEV program has been recognized by CTI and the accreditation program for accrediting engineers European Network for for accrediting engineers (ENAEE). The Ministry of Education and Training has also recognized the degree of PFIEV Excellent Engineer Training Program equivalent to the master's degree in admission to the higher education level (PhD). PFIEV graduates only need to study a relatively short program (4-6 months) to get a M.Sc degree in from Hanoi University of Science Technology. Therefore, graduates of the PFIEV Program have special advantages on job opportunities as well as PhD study in the home country or abroad, especially European countries.
