On November 25, 2022, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems Vietnam Co., Ltd. was formally held at the company’s premises.
The event was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Rector of HUST, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Huy, Dean of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, along with faculty members, students, and Mr. Shimada Masanori, General Director of Toshiba Vietnam.
As part of the ceremony, the delegation had the opportunity to visit and explore the company’s state-of-the-art facilities. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to close collaboration in training, research, and student recruitment.
Additionally, five K64 students from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering were awarded scholarships. This annual scholarship program, sponsored by Toshiba, is dedicated to supporting students specializing in Electrical Engineering
The ceremony took place in a formal yet warm and engaging atmosphere, marking a meaningful step forward in the partnership between academia and industry.
