The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE) at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) has officially formalized its commitment to cutting-edge research with the establishment of 13 specialized research laboratories. A recent decision from HUST Director Associate Professor Dr. Huỳnh Quyết Thắng, dated April 24, 2024, officially recognized the leadership appointments for these vital research units.
This significant development builds upon the initial establishment of these laboratories on May 9, 2023, and now provides them with formalized leadership structures to drive innovation within SEEE's diverse research portfolio.
The newly appointed laboratory heads will lead research in specialized areas critical to electrical and electronic engineering advancement:
- Multi-Agent Control Systems Laboratory (headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoài Nam)
- Electric Vehicle Laboratory (headed by Dr. Võ Duy Thành)
- Aerospace Electronics Laboratory (headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Trung)
- Advanced Network Technology and Smart Applications Laboratory (headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Tài Hưng)
- Integrated Circuit Design and Embedded Systems Laboratory (headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Nguyễn Thanh Loan)
- Biomedical Engineering Laboratory (headed by Dr. Nguyễn Việt Dũng)
- Optical Waveguide, Antenna and Microwave Laboratory (headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Hải)
- High-Performance Electric Machines Laboratory (headed by Dr. Phùng Anh Tuấn)
