On December 5, 2022, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) signed a cooperation agreement with Samsung Vietnam for the 2023–2025 period. This partnership aims to strengthen university–industry collaboration, enabling the development of a high-quality talent pool that meets the evolving needs of businesses while contributing to educational advancement.
Fostering industry partnerships and promoting international integration are among the ten strategic priorities for HUST’s 2021–2025 development plan. For the 2022–2023 academic year, the university has set a goal to deepen its engagement with industry partners in both education and research, including the implementation of the “Industry Semester” model.
Assoc. Prof. Huynh Quyet Thang, President of HUST, remarked:
"The timing is right, the conditions are favorable, and we are united in our vision. I am truly pleased and confident that today's signing will elevate the partnership between HUST and Samsung Vietnam to a new level—especially in the training of talent, research, innovation, and technology transfer."
