Ông Nguyễn Duy Long nhận học vị Tiến sĩ Kỹ thuật điện năm 2023 của trường Đại học Ulsan, Hàn Quốc. Hiện tại Ông Nguyễn Duy Long là Giảng viên tại Khoa Tự động hóa, Trường Điện - Điện tử, Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội. Các hướng nghiên cứu quan tâm hiện tại bao gồm: lưới điện siêu nhỏ, các phương pháp điều khiển ứng dụng cho các bộ biến đổi điện tử công suất: DC/DC, DC/AC, AC/DC.
