Nguyễn Tiến Dũng sinh năm 1970 tại Hà Nội, Việt Nam. Ông tốt nghiệp Đại học Kỹ thuật Sofia, Bulgaria và tốt nghiệp thạc sỹ tại Trường Kỹ thuật Điện và Điện tử (SEEE) của Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội (HUST), Việt Nam, lần lượt vào năm 1996 và 2000. Năm 1997, ông gia nhập Trường Điện - Điện tử tại ĐHBK Hà Nội với vai trò trợ giảng. Năm 2005, ông lấy bằng Tiến sĩ tại Khoa Kỹ thuật Điện tử, Đại học Quốc gia Kyungpook, Daegu, Hàn Quốc. Từ năm 2010, ông được phong hàm Phó giáo sư của Trường Điện - Điện tử tại ĐHBK Hà Nội. Lĩnh vực nghiên cứu chính của ông bao gồm xử lý hình ảnh và video kỹ thuật số; xử lý ảnh y sinh; hệ thống giao thông thông minh; phát triển ứng dụng dựa trên thị giác máy tính ứng dụng trong lĩnh vực điều hướng robot cứu hộ.
Tien Dzung Nguyen was born in Hanoi, Vietnam in 1970. He received the B.S. degree in Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, and M.S. degree at School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE) from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam, in 1996 and 2000, respectively. In 1997, he joined SEEE at HUST, where he is working as a teaching assistant. In 2005, he conducted his Ph.D in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea. Since 2010 he has been an associate professor with SEEE at HUST. His main research interests include digital image and video processing; biomedical image processing; intelligent transportation system; computer vision-based application development for navigation and operation of rescue robots. |
